Astrology is an ancient
system of science
and divination. But
astrology reading
is
so many things -
to so many people.
From
scientific discoveries...
to divine interpretations
of one's astrological
birth chart. Astrology
aids us in different
ways, from educational
knowledge, to personal
development, the
study
of psychological
traits, astrological
compatibility,
the relation to our
own planet and the
solar
system, the study
of time and mathematics,
to the connection
with our atmosphere,
the
weather, our natural
resources... and
so
on.
Astrology is the divination and study of
the celestial bodies
that surround us, by
studying the planets,
the stars, the sun,
the moon, the terrestrial
influences, the
pattern of space
weather, existing life other
than our own, interest
that revolves around
religion and spirituality,
the mathematics
of our solar system,
along with the search
of other solar systems
and heavenly bodies.
Again the list just
goes on. The study of
Astrology is a very
personal one for each
professional astrologer,
or for each person
who studies the stars...
from every walk
of life - all over
the world.
I have personally played with astrology since
my late teens, which
worked out well when
you wanted to know
more about the guy
you
were going out on
a date with, or why
your
dysfunctional family
acted the way they
did.
My first dabble with
astrology started
with
the sun signs. I
grew very interested
in
the sun sign personalities
and the related
traits... from the
way a particular
sun sign
acted, and the way
their sun sign looked
(their facial and
physical features).
I found
extreme interest
in this, as I had
always
enjoyed the simple
study of people-watching
while at the mall...
viewing the body
types
of people, their
facial features,
their skin
and hair color, and
their reactions with
others. But wow -
the extras benefits
that
were added when I
understood more about
the
signs.
My intrigue and interest evolved into the
learning of the planets. Each planet has
it's own unique meaning, its own traits,
and behaviors. Imagine knowing the power
that is related to each of the planets, and
its affects on a particular group of people,
and our world around us. It was truly exciting,
and I wanted to know more. Feeding the brain
of a Sagittarian is good stuff. So I read.
I studied. I read. I studied. I lived and
breathed Astrology with so many situations
and people in my life.

After you get to know each one of the planets
personally, on a one on one personal conversation,
you begin to understand each planets individual
strengths and weaknesses... along with people
who were ruled or dominated by particular
planets. I began an interest with all the
planets within an astrological chart. This
is a diagram or map of the solar system during
a specific time. This chart is divided into
twelve equal parts or "houses".
Then according to the planets in the sky
during that exact moment, each planet is
placed within the chart. These equally divided
houses of the astrological chart rule specific
aspects to your life path. These can be your
own personal goodies in a chart. They can
either help or hinder your goals.. depending
on your individual lessons and actions.

A planet's personal powers and their mathematical
positions can help you make smart decisions
in your life, or explain some personal mishaps.
Looking at the exact degrees that the planets
fall into certain houses can become lucky
charms. Planet aspects and their relation
to other existing planets also are important
to look at in a chart. Some planets work
well when standing next to another planet..and
some planets wilt when standing next to other
planets.. which can cause painful mistakes,
personal mishaps, and repetitive inner struggles.
This all can come in handy when you look
into your own personal paths, by examining
certain planets and their time and length
in movement. How long they will plant themselves
within a certain part of the house, and will
they give you control over your life or will
they only limit you and force you to take
another route. These are called transits.
Transits are movement, which can be daily
- or yearly. An astrological chart can also be planned
out for other specific events. You can create
a chart for a birth of a cat, for the time
of a natural disaster, the day of an important
interview, to the time of an intense dream.
The part of the of study that I am particularly
into is for the creative art of it all. I
am fascinated with the planets contact with
us all, including with our weather, oceans,
air pressure, as well as what our nodes and
karmic lessons.
Astrology is its own symbolic language. Astrology
is a form of mathematics and science. Astrology
is a creative art of divination. I love to look and study an astrological
chart, but also to use astrology and its
planets in the spread of the tarot for deeper
and more personal interpretations of divination.
It is always interesting and mystifying to
perform and work with the cosmic forces within
the cards.
