Bad Psychics - The Good, The Bad, and Ugly
Facts to Face
©2007 Starcana.com
There are 'awesome' psychics and there are
the 'good' psychics, and then there are the
'BAD' psychics. We all know and enjoy the
awesome psychics, the ones who we have a
great chemistry with.... it's a special bond
when you make a good match and connection
with the reader when getting a reading.
Then there are the 'good psychics. These
are the readers who you have a hard time
connecting with, and because of that - they
have a hard time connecting to you.. but
they can still tap on your energy pretty
darn good. But if something is out of sync
with the energy between the two of you -
you can be guaranteed that your reading will
not be so wonderful. Usually one of us can
tell if the energy is going to be decent
- by a simple hello and a few words.
Testimonial Thanks. I will get some sleep tonight. ~M.B.
You are an angel!!! I am so glad
you included
everything in my reading even
if it did not
make sense to you.....because
EVERY word
makes sense to me. I appreciate
your talent
and want to thank you for sharing
your gift
with me and others. ~A.C.
Trust Your Own Feelings or Use Good Common
Sense
The ones you should truly be cautious of,
are the BAD psychics. These are the readers/people
who prey on the weak, the worriful, and the
desperate. They draw you in, tapping in on
old wombs, and dig their fingernails in alitle
deeper. They are the BAD psychics who promise
to reconnect you with your love, who will
bring you lots of money, as well as promise
to heal you miraculously - all for the cost
of an arm and a leg, along with additional
fees of thousands of your dollars, property
and expensive jewelry. Readings arent evil, it's the intention of the reader that you
should be cautious of. They always tack on
additional fees for their magic and potential
miracles. |

This is usually why I don't care to be referred
to as a psychic, but more of a spiritual
intuitve, since the psychic name and reputation
has been tainted. My personal goal as a reader
is not to simply throw psychic answers at
you, but more about helping you work through
your problem and finding peace and understanding
in the solution. It is about having hope
and realizing that you have important choices
to make to find serenity and happiness. There
are many people out there who are deperate
and at their last straw when getting results
in their life. These people will do just
about anything, and usually turn to a psychic
for inspiration, guidance and help. The BAD
psychics feed off your weakness, like a vampire...
but it's not blood that they are after, but
your savings account.

Whether it is in person, or on the internet....
you will come across a bad psychic (and other
bad people) who will be dishonest and corrupt.
It is up to you to check out their credentials
or proof of their sincerity. For an example,
I personally think that I have alot of information
on my website, plenty of details about me,
my style of readings, the type of readings
that I do, as well as a disclaimer which
offers you an easy to read terms of service.
You get my rates upfront (so there are no
surprises when you get your bill), you get
the billing name up front, etc. If you read
my disclaimer, there are things that I will,
and will not talk about or go into. I also let you know upfront that I will not
charge you an additional fee or addd on extra
costs to take care of your life. Obviously,
no one can take care of your life - except
you. In other words, no one can control your
life, no one can create your destiny, and
no one can make your dreams come true - except
you.
Do Your Psychic Homework - Know
Some Quick
Signs
- Research the person you are going to be
giving your personal information to. Be sure
they offer plenty of information (online
or verbally) to make YOU feel satisfied.
If they avoid answering your questions, perhaps
you should avoid offering your credit card
information.
- The price of service or the rates for the
reading should be presented
to you BEFORE
the reading gets started -
not after.
- If additional fees are requested for removing
curses, curing dark auras, and erasing negative
energy surrounding you - leave quickly!
- If a psychic suggests that you keep returning
regularly for a reading - leave.
Readings
are usually good for 3 to 9
months.
- If a psychic calls YOU to remind you that
you are due for another reading - hang up.
If someone is begging for your money - you
need to ask yourself why, because ethical services do not rely on telemarketing
tactics. They work hard to provide a stable
business and a safe environment for others...
and their honest practice is generously rewarded
with new clients, returning customers, and
referrals from ongoing customers.

A reading is about getting intuitive messages
and practical answers to
GUIDE you along
your path... we do not
not walk your path
FOR you. If you let someone
do it for you
- then you are givng that
someone your approval
to take away your power,
and make choices
for you. When they take
away your power,
you become weak, until
you find yourself
becoming desperate and
doing ANYTHING to
fix your situation. Many
find themselves
emptying out their savings
account - for
a wee smidgen of hope. If we were THAT good at performing miracles
- psychics would not be
reading for a living,
(well at least I wouldnt!)
I would be sipping
frozen margaritas in the
bahamas. You know
why? Because I would magically
have it set-up
to win the lottery each
month..lol. Unfortunately - we aren't that good. And
when some people realize
that - the smarter
and more intellectual your
reading becomes...
for an enlightening experience
that enhances
your spiritual direction
as you reach each
crossroad in your life. I always say.. be smart when you are searching
for a psychic or a reader,
and be sure that
there is plenty of information
to give you
what you need in knowinging
that they are
ethical, be sure you have
a few ways to make
contact with them (should
a problem arise),
and most importantly -
always use psychic
readings wisely. |
| Getting a reading every week or every day
- is not wise, nor the
way that a reading
work. Just like anything
else, time and patience,
along with trust, play
a large role. The
more readings that you
get - does not make
time move ay faster. Ethical
readers will
always let you know that
numerous readings
are not necessary. Ethical
readers will always
remind you of your options
as well, and how
'free will' comes into
place. Readings are
not set in stone and the
simplest shift in
energy, will shift your
mind, your intention,
and your action - resulting
in a changed
atmosphere of probable
cause, and that is
what makes readings so
magical - as you can
create what you want -
and what you dont'
want. If you dont like
the outcome when pre-planning
- you can scratch your
idea - and rearrange
it. And again, no magic spells, no crystals,
no special casting is going
to change your
life, to bring a love back
into your life,
make you rich, and so on
- except you. No
matter how much money a
BAD psychic requires
to make your life better,
it wont happen
- as that is not how life
- nor the law of
attraction works. Because
once they now you
are willing to pay a small
amount - they
will manipulate the situation
and have you
desperate and willing to
pay a larger amount.
My best advice is to to
say "Thanks,
but no thanks" and
RUN! Remember...
if our work was THAT miraculous,
we would
all be winning the lottery...
right? |

OTHER SCAM TRICKS I have listed other scam tricks that you
should ALWAYS be aware of, and that you should
never be afraid to ask questions to - and
thoroughly. If you are ever unsure or have
hesitation - it's probably with good reason,
so listen to your own gut feeling. Contact
a family member or friend to help you make
a decision regarding the matter if you dont
feel confident. If you dont have someone
close to ask, then contact a professional
service or your local authorities. It's better
to be safe, than sorry.
A FREE prize is FREE and does not require
one dollar from you when it is legal. Understand that a legitimate contest winning
IS totaaly free. 100%. Free gifts mean the gift is free AND the tax, shipping and delivery is free too.
When you are contacted because you have won
something, you are NEVER required to send a payment, so
do not offer out a written check or credit
card number, or you will be scammed. A free
gift is a free gift, meaning NO cost is involved.
If they try to convince you that you to send
money to receive it, say no thank you. |
 |
If something seems to good to be true.. You're suspicions are right on target. Investigate
and ask questions.
If you are a winner of a contest that you
have never entered.... then more than likely your personal information
was sold for telemarketing purposes. Most authentic organizations do not contact
you over the phone (anonymously)
to request
a gift or donation that
involves your social
security number or credit
card. Don't be
fooled with those who disguise
themselves
to be someone they are
not. Simply say no.
If you feel guilty... my
advice would be
to go visit a local chapter
in your area,
and make a generous donation.
Offers that presented you with a 100% guarantee
should be questioned.... especially if they havent notified you of
the fine print. Anything that is legit has
a fine print, like applying for a credit
card, applying for a loan, your insurance
papers, and so on. Simply put, nothing in
life is free or a 100% guarantee. Mistakes
and accidents DO happen, along with communication
errors. Always ask questions, and don't be
afraid to ask for specifics and proof. Honest,
moral and ethical people will always be glad
to sell themself and provide you with acts
and truth.
If a telemarketer or sales personal becomes
argumentive or angry..... because you havent made an immediate decision
yet, or because you decided to inquire and
ask more questions... you may need to ask
them (or yourself) why they have become so
defensive or pressured, or possibly ask what
do they have to hide. Impatience can be a
sign that they desire to make the "deal"
quick, and by allowing you to stall could
allow you to change your mind.
If you get an email from a stranger in Nigeria (well, ANY stranger or country will do)
but who will give you a part of their earnings
or inheritance because of... whatever reason...
hit the delete button. It's been nationally
advertised as a scam, and you should expect
to see more relatives and friends that you
never heard of. Just keep deleting them.
Last, I am not a professional in legal matters
or intelligent fraud cases, so this information
is simply based on either my own personal
learnings from plenty reading of the internet
laws or public fraud, or from watching the
news with public cases that have been reported.
Again, if you are unsure, either check into
it, or just say no.
