It’s a fine time to release and put closure to unresolved issues as we draw nearer to the New Moon on Friday January 27. If you happen to need a little help in the ‘letting go’ department, perhaps the insight from the January Tarotscope could be of some help. The creative energy from the Mercury/Neptune sextile on Monday January 23 may also stir our attention with a higher sense of imagination and intuitive awareness.
There’s a clue from this week’s tarot insight [AcePents/FiveCups]; which seems that we’ve been holding onto something (or someone) that was once thought of as a gift. But like an iridescent bubble that has gently floated down from the heavens – and into the palm of our hand… the sparkle, the hopeful dream and the colorful illusions are quick to vanish – when we dare to touch it; to make it real. And what remains, is just a good dose of reality and life.

So as we rub our eyes and wake up from the sleep… we’ll begin to see what has continued to stay paralyzed and lifeless in our path and development. Some will focus on the dead weight and dissatisfaction from the Venus/Saturn square on Friday, January 27 – while others will utilize the Mercury/Neptune aspect, to see he splattered bubble burst as a positive shift for individual growth.
Humans have the ability to shift perspective. We can experience the world through our senses. Or we can remove ourselves from our senses and experience the world even less directly. We can think about our life, rather than thinking in our life. John J. Emerick
Aquarius New Moon. So again, just release and detach… as it’s time to make room for the new. We can find encouragement in this New Moon; to start fresh beginnings, create new projects and use a better approach – from the recent information that we’ve been so fortunate to gather. And when we use what we have learned, while including this liberating Aquarian New Moon – we can plant new seeds of intention – to grow our own New Moon blessings.
We can selfishly embrace our hunger for a much needed change. We can rebel from what has been uncomfortably limited – by looking for the beauty in chaos. And we can give ourselves permission to reconnect with our true authentic self. We can change our future, when we decide to rise up from the struggle and the rubble.

Mars enters Aries. The timing is energetic and exciting in applying ourselves during the next six weeks, as creative Mars exits self-sacrificing Pisces – and joins hot-wired Uranus in Aries. We might already feel amazingly spontaneous and brave as we begin again, to take charge of our own direction.
This cosmic energy has a reputation for its impulsiveness and force, so we’ll need to remind ourselves to stay kind and courteous; to not impose our impatience, frustrations and drive onto others. As adventures and new projects are up for grabs during this astrological cycle; so are head-butting arguments, road rage, accidents, violence, electrical fires and explosive weather. These heated vibrations can also increase pressure (and scarring) to areas of the head; which can summon ‘in your face’ uncomfortableness with headaches, brain activity, sinuses, eye issues, and the jaw.

With a provoking Mercury/Pluto conjunction on Sunday January 29, use personal intentions and/or professional goals as a good reminder, to where our energy should be focused. Know what you’re willing to stand and fight for… and when to walk away. Happy Chinese New Year – the year of the Rooster! Starcana weekly tarot insight: What once seemed special, lacks potential. [AcePents/FiveCups]. Have a great week!
