The Scorpio Moon feels vulnerable to the most minor vibrations, and can have us withdrawing back into our own safe surroundings. As Luna sextiles Pluto this morning, pay attention to dreams as they speak, but if you’re out of the house, use inner strength to concentrate on our work to feel in control, especially as Moon squares Sun (ego) and Mars (action). Putting ourselves ‘out there’ and proving our word will be challenged with a Mercury square Saturn in the wee hours of the morning, Perhaps you’ve noticed the energy in the air as it causes mental fog and sluggishness in our perspective. We have plenty ideas, probably sharing with others what we hope to accomplish, but when it comes to making it happen – we fail to do as planned. As Saturn travels through Libra (relationships), stress can be intercepted as we try to express ourselves to others. We’re all talk, and not enough action. Complaining and grumpiness is in the air. Find an alternative option to process and communicate intentions, with realistic methods that you’ll actually commit to. Say what you mean. Don’t accept someone’s word unless they are willing to put into writing.

Another cosmic event that we have is Saturn stationing, in preparation to REtrograde for the next five months. Saturn demands responsibility, integrity, loyalty, and respect of ourselves, and as he travels through Libra, his demands will be expected in our personal, professional, and romantic relationships. Saturn gives us tough situations to deal with, in order to teach us morals and the hard lessons of life. Moving forward with our relationships and commitments with others are put on hold, as Saturn retrogrades. During the next five months, we are encouraged to RE-join in Saturn’s REsearch as he gets to the root of issues, pointing out what is weak, decayed, and falling apart. Saturn will bring it to the surface, but it will be up to us to REvise, REpair, REbuild, and REinforce, if we find it of value. If there are thoughts of RE-connecting or RE-establishing a stronger relation with a friend, family member, spouse, child, sibling, etc… our initiation, hard work, dedication and commitment is required. By choosing to ignore what must be confronted, we would be creating a verbal agreement between ourselves and the Universe, confirming our decision to avoid the hard work necessary to build a temporary situation into something permanent and long-lasting.

I created a meditative practice that I felt is beneficial for the timing as Saturn retrogrades (synchronicity rocks!), as we are asked to turn within – rather than without. As this transit isn’t about placing blame on someone else for what isn’t working in our life. This is about taking care of our own responsibilities. Self-destruction of aged patterns, to REconstruct ourselves into someone more stable, secure, and deserving. Old issues also rise during the REtrograde, so expect unREsolved problems, unREliable people, unknown enemies, and unstable situations to RE-occur. Areas that are influenced with this timing is our home, business, property, roads, bridges, family, weak trees, grandparents, career, reputation, finances, savings, and insurances should be looked into. Leg problems, along with bones, teeth, knees can creep up on us. Saturn is big, thorough, and heavy – and this transit can follow us around like a huge black cloud – which can make us mentally tired, down in the dumps, pessimistic, sluggish, etc. If you don’t like the way your life is, now is the time to start figuring out what limits you, and take care of what isn’t working anymore. ‘It will destroy you if you try to make it mean anything to anyone but yourself.
