Mars enters Gemini. Mars made an exit from immovable Taurus on Monday May 11, and entered unlimited Gemini. During the next six weeks we’ll fly through somes up and downs to take us where we’re going, crossing paths of blustery currents and quick jerky movements. Move with plenty flexibility, because reaching goals can be more challenging as we push our way past heavy attachments. As we shift in a variey of diections to break free from limitations, we’ll speed into extreme altitudes, which will require a few quick head spins, a couple of sharp rights, and even a few wrong turns along the way with Mercury retrograde next week.
The road of life twists and turns and no two directions are ever the same. Yet our lessons come from the journey, not the destination. Don Williams, Jr.
We’ll more than likely try a few different courses in the weeks ahead, just to see what path will truly drive our hungry spirit. We’ll be paving a multiple of new roads as a way to generate a faster shortcut to where we’re likely to go, through multitasking, friends, socializing, and networking. Wit, words, and twisted altercations may also be applied, as a way to challenge others – with what we ‘think’ we currently know.
The only true wisdom is in knowing you know nothing. Socrates
With Mars in Gemini, there can be a unique group of opposing forces that encourage unpredictable change in the atmosphere, along with the strength of powerful words, brilliant speeches, creative writings, brainstorming ideas, aggressive promotions, and a push for open-mindedness and awareness. On the flip side, there can also be a noticable increase of speed, pressure, aggression, conflicts and possible rage in areas of burning thoughts, disagreeing words, turbulent weather and air travel, sibling rivalry, neighborly disagreements and heated negotiations. And again with Mercury retrograde right around the corner; communications, vehicles and computer breakdowns are threatened. Read more about Mercury retrograde.
The well bred contradict other people. The wise contradict themselves. Oscar Wilde
With Saturn (responsibility, discipline) and Pluto (destruction, transformation) both retrograde, our process to eliminate and rebuild are slowed down considerably. Time is slowing down while our energy is reduced, to redistribute our heavy burdens and reality, before we take a stand in letting go. But the intensity of last week’s Scorpio Full Moon, patience and adjustment may not have been that easy to deal with, yet transitions should have taught us something about life and our journeys with Jupiter direct.
We must become the change we want to see. Mahatma Gandhi
As we try to roll with the waves, there’s flammable energy brewing from the Mars/Saturn opposition on Friday May 15. These vibrations can ignite a fiery blaze where resistance and limitations exist. So while we may be ready to move on and create our desires (Mars), we can very well expect the brakes (Saturn) to be applied. Power trips and control struggles can develop, as well as nervous energy and irritability. With Venus in Cancer, practice self-care, compassion and patience. Tarot insight: Holding our own.
